What’s the difference between contour and bronzer?

Contouring is all about adding dimension where shadows naturally sit on your face, while bronzer is used to add warmth where the sun hits your face. We love pairing Sculpt Stick with Matte Bronzer for both defined cheekbones and sunkissed skin in seconds. Check out our guide on contour vs. bronzer for more info!

Why should contour be cool toned?

Cool tones mimic the look of natural shadows on your face. (Translation: They play up your angles in a more subtle, natural way.) The result: instant depth and dimension. That's why we made our best contour stick with cool tones :)

What’s the easiest way to contour?

Sculpt Stick is designed to take the guesswork out of sculpting, so you can just swipe, blend, and go. Apply along the contours of your face: under cheekbones, sides and tip of nose, hairline, and jawline. Just blend it in with your fingers, a brush, or sponge and you're good to go. (PS: We've got a whole guide on how to contour up on Milk Paper. Check it out.)

Is it better to contour with cream or powder?

We love cream products because they’re easier to blend and look more natural, especially if you've got dry or mature skin. That’s why we designed our contour stick with a nourishing cream formula that builds and blends seamlessly. No harsh lines. No caking.

How do I wear Sculpt Stick with the other Milk Makeup sticks?

All our sticks are made to play nicely together, so you can get an easy makeup look in 60 seconds flat. Start with Sculpt Stick to contour. Then apply Matte Bronzer for a sunkissed look. Swipe on Lip + Cheek for a flush of color, and finish with Highlighter for a radiant glow.

What is the plastic disk inside the cap for? And how do I remove it without damaging my product?

All of our makeup sticks are filled from the bottom of the tube with product directly instead of using a mold, which allows us to keep the formula cleaner and creamier. The inner disk acts like a stopper during the filling process and helps our sticks keep their shape without added preservatives. To remove it, gently twist off the disk from the stick. (If necessary, you can twist the stick up slightly before you remove it.) Don’t try to flick or pull the disk off, because this might damage the stick. Once the disk is removed, you’re good to go!

Will Sculpt Stick clog my pores?

This creamy, buildable formula is non-comedogenic. It's also made with thyme extract blend that helps nourish skin.

How can I prevent my product from melting?

Our products are made with as natural as possible ingredients, so they may be susceptible to melting in extreme heat. We recommend storing them in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, for the best use.
