Meet Our Best Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil: Infinity Long Wear Eyeliner

3 staple shades. 12-hour wear. Limitless looks.

Infinity Eyeliner Infinity Eyeliner

To get your liner on point, look no further than our new Infinity Long Wear Eyeliners dropping today. Our best waterproof eyeliner pencil comes in three shades, hugs your waterline like it’s never letting go, and contains bonus ingredients that deliver nourishing skincare benefits. It’s everything you need to create limitless eye looks this summer (and beyond), whether you’re in the mood for a soft glam eye or crisp, sharp wings.

The perfect eyeliner pencil is all about versatility, so we thought about all the looks you might want to create while developing Infinity. We took inspiration from everywhere: siren eyes on our TikTok FYP, low-key kitten flicks spotted around Milk HQ, vibrant graphic liner looks on our Instagram feeds, and dramatically smokey liner on the red carpet. True, it sounds like a lot to ask for from a single pencil, but our Product Development team developed a genius solution.

“We wanted to make an eyeliner pencil that combines our commitment to clean ingredients with a creamy, waterline-safe, high-performance formula that doesn’t budge,” says Jessica Blanco, our SVP of Product Development and Packaging. “I love that our Infinity Eyeliners do all of that while coming with built-in tools that let you customize how you want to wear them.”

How does our best waterproof eyeliner pencil work?

Here’s what you’ll see when you get one of our new Infinity Long Wear Eyeliners: a dual-ended pencil that uncaps both ways. One side contains your twist-up waterproof, waterline-safe eyeliner. The other holds a detachable sharpener and smudger tip that gives you endless ways to switch up your makeup vibe. You can use the sharpener to taper the liner point to a fine tip that’s precise enough to create wings and graphic shapes. (It’s also a great accessory for tightlining.) Or, flip it around and blend your liner with the smudger side for an instant smokey effect.

How long does this eyeliner last?

We tested our Infinity Eyeliners to make sure they’ll last for hours—up to 12 hours, to be exact—even on your waterline. The creamy formula contains ingredients like avocado oil and ceramides that help it glide on without pulling or tugging. We also added aloe vera extract to help soothe and nourish your delicate eyelids and lash line. Plus, our best long-lasting eyeliner is also ophthalmologist-tested and safe for contact lens wearers, so truly anyone can wear it.

“I'm always interested in technology or ingredients that can improve the smoothness or ease-of-application,” says Kelly Kossakoski, our Director of Global Education. “Our new Infinity Eyeliners features ingredients that really help the formula feel buttery-smooth.”

How to Apply (and Remove) Infinity Long Wear Eyeliner

First, pick your perfect shade of Infinity. We made it in three super pigmented options: Outer Space (black), Time (navy blue), and Limitless (brown). If you have trouble deciding, we also created Infinity eye kits that bundle them together in different combinations with our best-selling mascaras—and will even let you score some extra savings.

“My biggest tip is to get a good angle when you apply these,” says Kelly. “Relax your eyelids, tilt your head back slightly, and look downward into the mirror to get close to your lashline.” Kelly also recommends prepping any eye look—Infinity included—with a base of our Hydro Grip Eye Primer to create a smooth, strong-hold canvas.

From there, sketch out any kind of eyeliner that matches your mood. Kelly likes blending any two of the shades together to create a “dimensional winged liner look,” and you can even top our liners with Color Chalk to add even more shade options. (Infinity Eyeliner in Outer Space works especially well to amplify our shimmery Color Chalks.)

Don’t forget to layer on a few coats of mascara to emphasize any type of eyeliner. “I love tightlining my lower lash line and dotting Infinity between my upper lashes when I wear RISE Mascara,” says Kelly. “It really emphasizes the lifting effect.” For a more dramatic “stacked lash look,” she smudges Infinity in Time or Limitless close to her lash line, tightlines with Outer Space, and layers on KUSH Mascara to dial up the intensity. “This gives amazing drama,” she says.

We recommend experimenting to see just how many ways you can wear them. And when you’re ready to take them off at the end of the day, just grab our Hydro Ungrip Cleansing Balm to melt off every intense, waterproof trace.
