Hayley Williams delivers hit after hit, and that statement holds true whether we’re talking about her music or her makeup looks. The artist, who’s currently on the Eras Tour with Paramore, took to the stage in Paris in glitter tears that sparkled brighter than the spotlights. Just like other looks she’s served up in the past, it didn’t budge an inch through her high-intensity set list. Naturally, we suspected some of her Milk Makeup favorites had to be involved—and confirmed that the star of the show was none other than Hydro Grip Set + Refresh Spray.

Hayley’s makeup artist (and hairstylist, as well as partner in their hair color company, Good Dye Young) Brian O’Connor, has regularly relied on Milk’s prime and set MVPs to create some iconic concert looks. Last year, he and Hayley dreamed up a retro winged liner masterpiece and sandwiched her makeup in an unbeatable combo of Pore Eclipse Mattifying Primer and Pore Eclipse Matte Setting Spray, our soft-matte dream team for locking looks and blocking shine.

"If you’ve ever seen Hayley perform, you know that keeping her look locked in for the entire show is a feat," Brian previously told Milk Paper. "I love Milk Makeup’s prep and set products and use them on her before a show."

Fast forward one year and his makeup philosophy has stayed the same. While last year’s look was cool, sultry, and Debbie Harry-inspired, this year’s concert glam amped it up even further with full-on glitter tears. Again, Brian kept the focal point on the eyes, contrasting it against a soft, dewy base. To create the super shiny tears, he used Danessa Myricks glitter, then blasted them with a blow dryer to dry them down. You can also wet ourColor Chalkin Freeze, a shimmery silver, to get the look—no blow-dryer needed. (Color Chalk is another one of Brian’s Milk faves, and he used it on Hayley’s look last year for a “disco-ball, glittery effect.”)

While Brian’s blow-dry hack helped dry Hayley’s glitter tears, one more key step got them to last through the night. To seal in the whole look, he spritzed her makeup with our Hydro Grip Set + Refresh Spray, ourbest hydrating setting sprayto refresh skin and set your look for up to 12 hours (or through a high-energy live concert in Paris). Not only did Hydro keep Hayley’s glitter tears fresh and smudge-proof, it also gave her base a hydrated, dewy glow that contrasted perfectly against the multidimensional shine of her makeup. A look with serious stage presence? Check.
