How is Jelly Shimmer different from glitter highlighters?

Jelly Shimmer doesn't use glitter. We packed it with microplastic-free color-flipping pearls that give you a multi-dimensional sparkle without the gritty feel.

Does Jelly Shimmer have a clear or tinted base?

We made Jelly Shimmer with a clear base, so the sparkles look good against any skin tone. It won't look ashy on deeper skin or too dark on fairer skin, so grab any shade you want.

Is this formula safe for sensitive skin?

Jelly Shimmer is safe for sensitive skin. However, always perform a patch test on the forearm or neck area and let sit for at least 12 hours before using this product.

Do I need a primer to wear Jelly Shimmer?

You can wear Jelly Shimmer without primer, but for a longer-lasting sparkle, start with our Hydro Grip Primer to lock it in place for up to 12HRs with a dewy base, or Hydro Grip + Glow Primer for a golden-hour tint to your sparkle.

Can Jelly Shimmer be worn over makeup?

Yes. You can wear Jelly Shimmer over makeup. Run your finger over the top of the stick, then pat in. Wait a few seconds for the product to dry down before you add another layer.

Is Jelly Shimmer safe for acne-prone skin?

Jelly Shimmer is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic.

What is the plastic disk inside the cap for? How do I remove it without damaging my product?

All of our makeup sticks are filled from the bottom of the tube instead of using a mold, which allows us to keep the formula cleaner. The inner disk acts like a stopper during the filling process and helps our sticks keep their shape without added preservatives. To remove it, gently twist the disk off. Don’t flick or pull.
