Get to know the faces behind our campaigns who are as inspiring off camera as they are on. This week, we speak to Bridie, who starred in our RISE Mascara and Bionic Fam campaigns. Find out a little bit more about the model, double Taurus, and proud cat mom.
If there’s one thing that makes our RISE Mascara model Bridie excited to rise up in the morning, it’s kittens. “I just got a kitten, so I’m heavy in the cat content right now,” she tells us on the set of her shoot for RISE Mascara and our Bionic Fam. The kitten is named Green, he’s all black, and his eyes aren’t actually totally green—but his name still has a story behind it. Born in a litter of many different colors, Green is one of many brothers: Purple, Blue, and Orange among them.
“It also works out because Green is my favorite color,” says Bridie. “He’s so cute.” These days, she spends her free time teaching him to play fetch. “He’s like a dog,” she says.
Bridie’s intense love of animals can be traced not just to the fact that Green is very cute, but also to her astrological placements: a “Taurus to a T,” a double Taurus, in fact. Taurus traits she identifies with include being very stubborn, being extremely loyal, having a sensitive side, preferring quality over quantity, and being obsessed with the great outdoors, nature, and animals. Just like Green.

How would you describe your personal style?Comfortable, but slightly edgy—simple, edgy, comfortable. I try to be as eco-conscious as possible, so I do a lot of thrifting or vintage. If I buy newer brands, I buy Reformation’s basics. I like to know where things are made and where they come from. What’s your daily approach to beauty?Definitely less is more. I think skincare and makeup should just enhance your natural looks. Just simple, clean, fresh. I definitely really like the French beauty kind of thing. I love blush, and I only use cream blushes. I love when makeup has skincare in it. And you have to wear sunscreen. I am very pale and Irish, so my whole family is very big on sunscreen. My little brother had skin cancer, so that woke me up. He’s okay, though! I also got bangs almost a year ago. I’ve always wanted them, I was dying for them. Now I never don’t want them. I trim them every four weeks, so it’s not too bad—I go and get them done. I do not trust myself with scissors, absolutely not. If you could only use one Milk Makeup product for the rest of your life, what would it be?KUSH Fiber Brow Gel. It makes my brows fuller; I have lighter brows, and I like to brush them up to look a little more full. |

If you could get a one-way ticket to anywhere, where would you go?Probably Hawaii. I’m obsessed with nature and animals and I just love being surrounded by trees and waterfalls and nature. And it has so many ecosystems. It’s a really cool environment. I’ve been to all four islands. The Big Island is cool because it has a volcano and things like that. I swam with sharks in Oʻahu, which was really cool. But I think Maui and Kauaʻi are the best. I have a friend who lives out there—she’s a marine biologist. I’m so jealous of her life, it’s crazy. What album or song is currently on repeat for you?I’ve really been into Beck; I’ve been playing “Think I’m In Love.” I do Spotify Radio; I’ll pick the song I’m into and then do radio playlists. What’s your favorite hobby?I love reformer Pilates. But my secret hobby is playing “Zelda.” If you could have any superpower what would it be?If I could teleport anywhere, that would be great. How do you #LiveYourLook?I’m very big on being myself. I never try to be someone else, no matter who I’m talking to. I tend to be very chill, so I dress chill. I want to give off that friendly, approachable vibe because that’s what I am. |
